How to set up an App Store Support URL

Give app users a clear way to contact you, test the full reply path, and put the right address in App Store Connect.

What belongs at the Support URL?

Apple describes this required, localizable field as a link to support information. It should include actual contact information so users can reach you about app issues, feedback or feature requests. Apple mentions legal address, email and telephone details as applicable under local law. A working form can help, but does not replace contact information your situation requires. Make the page recognizable: the app name, how to get help, what information is useful when reporting an issue, and a contact method you monitor. A useful FAQ can answer repeat questions, but users should still have a way to reach you.

1. Set up a support page

If your app is already in StorePal, open My apps, select it, and copy its Support URL from the overview. You do not need to create another app. Every StorePal app has a support form whose messages appear in its feedback inbox.

If you are starting fresh, create an app with its name and address. Open the published support page to check that visitors can identify your app. Add any additional required contact details to your support information before submission.

2. Test both directions before submitting

Open the Support URL in a private browser window. Send a test message using an email address you control, with a harmless subject such as “Support setup test.” Then sign in to StorePal and open that app’s feedback inbox.

Reply to the test message. Verify that the recipient receives the notification and can open the conversation and respond. Check spam folders if needed. A form that accepts a message is only one half of a support workflow.

To explore the interface before creating an account, try a sample feedback conversation. The demo does not send real messages.

3. Use the support address in App Store Connect

Select your app and the relevant platform version in App Store Connect. Paste the complete https:// address into Support URL, and check any localized versions. The Marketing URL is a separate field for your app’s website. The Privacy Policy URL points to a different document. Check Apple’s field definitions

For StorePal, the public address ends in /support. Avoid copying your dashboard address, an individual private conversation link, or the sample demo URL.

4. Make support reachable inside the app

Add a “Contact support” link in your app’s Settings or Help screen. Use the same tested URL. If you offer a dedicated native experience, the StorePal API integration can connect it to the inbox; a normal link is enough to get started.

After launch, check the inbox regularly and improve your FAQ using recurring questions. A support page is useful when users can find it and you respond to it.
