Native SDK for
macOS & iOS
Drop-in feedback forms and "What's New" release note prompts for your native app. Two lines of code. Auto-translated into 9 languages.
Pro plan required for API access.
Quick Start
Two targets, three lines of code
Add the Swift package, configure once, and you're done.
In-app feedback form — users can report bugs, request features, or ask questions.
import StorePalFeedback
// In applicationDidFinishLaunching:
StorePalFeedback.configure(
apiKey: "sp_live_..."
)
// Show feedback form:
StorePalFeedback.showFeedbackWindow()Show release notes when the app updates. Auto-detects version changes. Skips first install.
import StorePalWhatsNew
// In applicationDidFinishLaunching:
// (after StorePalFeedback.configure)
StorePalWhatsNew.check()
// Or show manually from a menu:
StorePalWhatsNew.show()Auto-translated release notes
Write release notes once. StorePal automatically translates them into 9 languages using AI — not literal translations, but culturally adapted for native speakers.
The SDK automatically shows the correct language based on the user's system locale. Public release note pages do the same via browser language detection. You can also manually edit any translation in the dashboard.
What you get
In-app feedback
Native feedback form with categories (bug, feature, question). Submissions go to your StorePal inbox with email notifications.
What's New prompts
Automatic "What's New" window when the app updates. Detects version changes, skips first install, remembers shown versions.
9-language translation
Release notes auto-translated with cultural adaptation. The SDK displays the user's system language automatically.
Themed web views
Release notes render in a WKWebView that respects dark mode. Clean, embed-friendly design with no chrome.
REST API Pro
Full API for releases, feedback, FAQ, privacy & terms. Use from any platform — the SDK is optional.
CLI & Agent Skill Pro
Manage content from the terminal or let Claude do it via the StorePal agent skill. Push release notes from CI/CD.
REST API
Works from any platform
Don't use Swift? Call the API directly.
curl https://storepal.app/api/v1/releases?version=2.0.0 \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sp_live_..." \
-H "Accept-Language: ja"
# Response: release note content in Japanese
{
"data": {

}Frequently asked questions
Which platforms are supported?
The StorePalFeedback SDK supports macOS (AppKit). StorePalWhatsNew is a separate target in the same package for showing release notes. iOS support is planned. For other platforms, you can use the REST API directly.
How is the SDK distributed?
Via Swift Package Manager. Add the repository URL in Xcode > File > Add Package Dependencies. There are two targets: StorePalFeedback (feedback form) and StorePalWhatsNew (release note prompts).
Does the SDK require the Pro plan?
The SDK uses API keys, which require the Pro plan ($9.90/year or $4.99/mo). This includes unlimited feedback, release notes, API access, and auto-translation.
How does auto-translation work?
When you save release notes — in the dashboard or via the API — they are automatically translated into 9 languages using AI. The translations are culturally adapted, not literally translated. The SDK and public pages automatically display the correct language based on the user's system locale.
Can I use the REST API without the SDK?
Yes. The SDK is a convenience wrapper. You can call the REST API directly from any platform. Endpoints include feedback submission, release notes, FAQ, privacy policy, and terms of service.
What data does the SDK collect?
Only what the user explicitly submits: feedback messages, name, and email. The SDK does not track analytics, device fingerprints, or usage data. You can optionally pass metadata (device info, app version) for your own context.
