Frequently asked questions
Do I need terms of service for my app?
While not always strictly required, terms of service protect you legally and set expectations with users. Apple recommends it, and many app categories require it. It's a best practice for any published app.
What should my terms include?
Common sections: acceptable use, intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, termination conditions, and governing law. Our template covers all of these — customize it for your app.
Can I update after publishing?
Yes. Edit your terms anytime from the dashboard. The public URL stays the same, and the page always shows the latest version with a "last updated" timestamp.
Can I customize the look?
Yes. StorePal includes a theme editor where you can change fonts, colors, and styles so your terms page matches your app's brand.
Where is my content stored?
Your terms content is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with row-level security enabled, and served via Supabase's global CDN. StorePal does not sell or share your data with third parties.
Is this a substitute for legal advice?
StorePal provides a template and hosting platform. For complex legal requirements, we recommend having a lawyer review your terms. Our template gives you a solid starting point.
